The clinic was officially inaugurated on the 20th December 1994 by  H.E. Mr. Anthony Harris, the then British Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. The establishment is the effort of Dr. Samia Saafan and her husband,Professor Darweesh. They are British with Sudanese and Egyptian origin where the primary medical qualifications were obtained. However, the post graduate education, training and qualifications were acquired in the United Kingdom. With this acumen and over 50 years of experience in different disciplines of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Infertility and Endoscopic Surgery equipped with methods of advanced technology provided the advantage of practising the high standard of British medicine as well as understanding and appreciating the needs of people from different cultures.
